Willing To Grieve

About This Space

A peaceful mountain landscape representing calm and reflection.

I'm a 54-year-old man in the middle of learning how to feel.

For most of my life, I survived by scanning rooms, reading people, and staying useful. I got good at it. I built a career, a marriage, a life that looked solid from the outside. But underneath, I was running from grief I'd been avoiding since childhood.

Early losses taught me that love could disappear without warning. So I developed ways to numb, to distract, to stay one step ahead of the pain.

This site exists because I'm done running.

I'm not a therapist or an expert. I'm just a guy who finally decided that the only way out is through. Willing to grieve isn't a slogan for me—it's a daily practice I'm still learning.

If you're here, maybe you're learning too.
